- Installing Disk Optimizer.

-
-
- You should put an ORDER.DOG in the root directory of each hard disk.
- See the sample ORDER.DOG file.
-
- You should also put the command:
-
- SET DOG=d:\path\DEFAULT.DOG
-
- into your AUTOEXEC.BAT file and put a file like the sample
- DEFAULT.DOG file in that sub-directory.
-
- DEFAULT.DOG will then be used for floppy disks that do not have an
- ORDER.DOG file.
-
- d: = a drive letter. (A:,B:,ect.).
-
- \path\ = a sub-directory.
-
- You can run DOG without setting the DOG= environment string by using
- the command:
-
- DOG NUL
-
- NUL being the DOS built in empty file.
